Memorial Day
On this Memorial Day, we pause to remember those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom—men and women of extraordinary courage, selflessness, and strength. They were part of what history now calls “The Greatest Generation.” These individuals were not perfect, but they were forged in hardship, shaped by duty, and built for war—physically, emotionally, and morally.
The Greatest Generation teaches us what it means to endure, to stand firm under pressure, and to put the mission above self. They were disciplined. They knew the value of unity. They understood sacrifice. These are all qualities we are called to live out in our walk with Christ.
As we honor the fallen, may we also examine our own lives. Are we battle-ready believers, grounded in truth, clothed in righteousness, and equipped with the armor of God? Or have we grown too casual with the faith others fought to defend?
